I recently bought a new PC but i kept my "old" ram.
My specs:
Ryzen 5 1600
ASUS Prime B350 Plus
ASUS Strix GTX 1070TI 16GB
Crucial Ballistix 2400mhz
Seasonic Focus Plus 650Watt
Current main monitor: just a 5 year old BENQ 60hz monitor.

Im debating if i should upgrade my ram with the Corsair 3000mhz or buy a 140hz [G-Sync] monitor.
If monitor, is G-Sync that big of a difference when playing almost exlusively MMO's?
Becouse the price difference is insane.

Im playing BDO atm and i get some micro stutters/fps drops when using combat skills wich has to do with my outdated ram for Ryzen or a old monitor i think.

My budget: 200-370euro

So better take 3000mhz ram instead of my 2400mhz than getting a 144hz monitor instead of my 60hz one?

Get a gsync monitor. You won't regret, but rather ask yourself "how the fuck i've been playing before without it?" Overclock that ram.

Oh wait, you only play MMO? Gsync/Freesync helps with framedrops, A LOT, like really a lot. But if u have microstutters you have to check your system

Ram need an ovc for sure, but i guess CPU too, because BDO name sounds familiar, if it's an old game i bet what you want that we are dealing with another single core abomination not optimized for ryzen
