Do not do not buy hp. If it is the only option just change your major rather than wasting your money. I'm driving home right now from replacing the third of three hp laptops I've ever owned and all 3 over heated while on cooling pads and fried the mobo on under a year

I recommend a hp elitebook or macbook pro. Have great experience with both for video editing from which the best was with mac.
