I have to use wireless due to the distance from the router sadly. No other way unless i get a 500 foot ethernet, which is insanely expensive.

I had my cable company come and rewire my house so the modem and router could be in the computer room. Best decision ever.

Ethernet !
My motherboard does have the option to use both at the same time and I toy with it here and there but I don't stream live so I don't really notice any difference.

Wireless. Never have any issues. I do use my own modem and router. Comcasts hardware is very unreliable.
