hi guys quick question i have invested in 2 msi gaming -x 1080tis
i have an asus x99 pro (pre 3.1usb) 1 1080ti first slot x16
but where i want good airfloe am going to put 2nd 1080ti in last pci-e slot and if i dot put in second slot i only get x8 instead of x16 am i going to see a dramatic loss in fps. aka 3dbenchmark and etc etc

difference between x8 and x16 isnt that bad. add in the games that will even use a 2nd card and its a 1080ti. i think the power of the ti will compensate for any speed drop.

thanks Drew Leonard its not that i needed the the 2nd card bit like any pc enthusiast i wanted it and for £630 uk pounds it was a good price but many thanks for helping my question

What cpu u running. I run a 5820k and with only 28 pci lanes I only get 8x on both cards
