it can take a long time - in the hours.
if doing it with new people, is gonna be kinda hard to get a group that know what they are doing and are willing to help out. That's where i am, i found a nice group of folks on the LFG site but we only did the dogs part and they are in EU so is hard to coordinate, gotta find an NA group.

Generally for your first playthrough I would suggest leaving about 3 hours spare (this takes opening underbelly chests into account). My clan are running a virgin through in about 3 hours if you're interested. We've got 2 spaces.
