Hello everyone! I’m looking to buy the game and want to know if I need to buy the expansion as well or is the base game just as enjoyable? Just looking for opinions.

Hey, id say the dlc is definitely worth it but just wait to buy it. Plenty of things to do on the Island and it'll give you the chance to learn the ropes.

Scorched Earth is the only DLC map you need to buy the other 3 are free so look up if you like the look of Scorched Earth and if you don't then don't buy the DLC.

Well base game gives you 3 maps to play and if u purchase the dlc it gives scorched but this map is not recommended for beginners due to constant dehydration ....also when abberation is released you would need purchase this if like look of it but tbth with you base game is exactly same as DLC u will just miss out on scorched map ...with ragnarok having all of scorched creatures it's not exactly a loss mate
