Does anyone know if your SR restarts if you haven't played previous seasons? I haven't played since S5 and I want to get back into it. I was just a measly low platinum before I stopped, but I'm still scared I'll be booted back to silver and have to restart my climb.

it'll (somewhat) stay the same as when you stopped as far as I'm concerned

S4 I was gold, S8 I got put in gold. Hadn't got placed in any other season that I can remember.

It should drop a little bit from an extremely long period of inactivity, but not enough to put you two tiers under.

You'll drop. I'm gold this season for the first time ever after not playing last season. Real bummer.
