Built my first elevator man its a pain

Ive not played with the elevators yet was thinking about trying to incorporate one into my build but not sure how to yet

I'm on a dedicated server and I couldn't agree more lol. I built one that used 800 stone walls to enclose the elevator from floor to top because it comes down inside my base. Took me about a week to complete because I was trying to tame and get the tribe moving as well. Pretty cool though
