Anyone here gave up on competitive? I just stopped caring about reaching diamond on ps4 when I realized I'm too retarded and unlucky to do it. The final nail in the coffin today was when a Mei troll appeared in Two games in a row with me and ruined our team. Her throwing made the others throw and I realized, what's the point? Why should I git gud here? Just so people I don't know or care about online can respect me?

All I'm really down about is that I wasted a year of my life on this when I could've opened my eyes sooner and realized it's just a game.

I agree with you , but for me its not about proving anything to others , its about proving for myself , competing with myself , if you think about it this way you will probably reach diamond without even focusing on reaching diamond .. dunno if you get it
