What worked for me was to find a group of friends (about two or three) and play competitive together. It was much easier to rank up while playing with 2-3 other people I could trust. I went from low gold to 2915 in just a season

^^^ the only reason why I havent gone higher than low plat is because I barely get to play now but I do want to try to reach masters
